The MOCS Mission

As an independent, Christian coeducational, college preparatory school, Mt. Olive Christian School seeks to provide the best independent education to students in grades K2-12, while also preparing them to enter the world with a strong moral foundation. We believe that God has a special purpose for each person's life. No matter what that purpose might be, MOCS is ready to prepare you for that purpose. Our goal is to help you prepare for a life of significance by challenging you to think and be creative while keeping God at the center of all that you accomplish.

The MOCS Experience

Founded in 1980, Mt. Olive School is an established education center located in Northern Louisiana.

We seek to provide every opportunity to our students to develop their talents to better serve God. Our athletics and art programs help us to harness and grow the spiritual, creative, and athletic potential of each student. Our rigorous, Christ-centered, teacher-directed curriculum helps us to teach our students to be critical thinkers with a solid knowledge base.

When not in the classroom, gym, field, or stage, our students have the opportunity to participate in Homecoming, Prom, Funtober, and various socials and fundraisers.

For over 40 years Mt. Olive Christian School has been a cornerstone of Claiborne Parish and the surrounding community.

Nathan A. Jump

Principal

 

Nathan Jump has been a part of Mt. Olive Christian School since 1999 as a teacher, coach and administrator. Mr. Jump has recently earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Pensacola Christian College.
