Nurturing Eagle Scholars Together

What is N.E.S.T?

N.E.S.T stands for Nurturing Eagle Scholars Together​. The purpose of the N.E.S.T award is to reward the faithfulness and participation of MOCS graduates and their families. MOCS is establishing a savings account for each student enrolled at MOCS. The school will deposit $200 per school year into the savings account of each student attending MOCS, along with an additional $100 per year is the student participates in at least 2 Eagle/ACEL-sanctioned sports.

What Is The Goal of N.E.S.T?

Through this program, we encourage students to complete their education at Mount Olive Christian School by offering an attendance incentive. Additionally, our sports incentive motivates students to stay active and participate in MOCS athletics.

How It Works

Here is a brief example of how the program works. 

Example One:

  • Student who was enrolled at MOCS from K5 -12th grade
    • Will receive $200 for the 13 years they were enrolled. This equals $2,600.
    • From 7th grade -12th grade the student was enrolled in at least 2 sports. That is an additional $600.
    • The student will receive $3,200 upon graduating.

Example Two:

  • Student who enrolled at MOCS in the 9th grade
    • Will receive $200 for the 4 years. This equals $800.
    • The student was enrolled in two sports for two years. That is an additional $200. 
    • The student will receive $1000 upon graduating.
